2. The most formative experience had to be the first set of interviews because it gave me a lot of insight and gave me quite a good challenge as a new student in the class. The experience I will remember for years to come was definitely the first elevator pitch since I had never done one before. I liked the interview process the most for sure. I am most proud of my venture concept.
3. I have always seen myself as an entrepreneur, however, this class has definitely brought out my strengths and shown my weaknesses as well. I would like to continue with the structure the class offers in my ideas and projects for the future.
4. Consistency is the key to all success. Being consistent will out beat anyone who works hard for a short period of time. Stay on a calendar and do everything before the due date. The best thing to do is pray and have faith in not a god, but yourself!!
Me and my idol in the fitness community Rich Piana who passes away... RIP!

Hi Matthew,
ReplyDeleteGreat choice in assignment. When I conducted my first interviews I had no idea I would be doing dozens more. That skill I will take with me always as it enhances your network and provides extremely valuable information regarding an idea with no cost besides your time. Your entrepreneurial spirit related directly to fitness, with consistency being the most important thing, whether you are just starting out or far into your career. It’s awesome to see the parallels between succeeding in fitness and the entrepreneurial world. Persistency, hard work, and the motivation to keep going with nothing but willpower even when things aren’t going so well are just a few more. Cheers!

Matthew,
ReplyDeleteI think you gave solid advice to the future ENT3003 student in your response to question number four. Consistency is vital to life and success isn't? On many days consistency requires us to be tenacious and have a drive that doesn't quit in the face of opposition. This of course applies to many areas including the entrepreneurial mindset.
I have enjoyed reading about your product's growth through the short few months. This area seems to be a real passion for you and I hope you allow your passion to lead you in all your endeavors. May you have a great break before fall semester and continue to push forward in obtaining your academic goals.
Kindest Regards,
Suzanna
Hey Matthew,
ReplyDeleteGreat work on your final reflection. I also like a lot the elevator pitch. The interface was fun but at the same time hard for me, it's excellent that it was so successful for you. Great picture Rich Piana is a legend.
Great Work.
Hello Matthew,
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I think you gave great advises for future students. I totally agree that consistency will be a very important key to be successful in this class. It was my first elevator pitch too but I liked you and other people gave me feedback and I could tell my elevator pitch was improving a little by little. Have a good rest of summer and good luck for next semester!

Hey Matthew,
ReplyDeleteGreat post. I think you're giving great advice for the students taking this course in the future as I agree that staying consistent in this course is imperative to succeeding. Especially since it's quite easy to miss some of the assignments especially the cupcakes. Also. RIP Rich Piana, great pic.
Great post.
